Brief History

“Hridaypur Srija” a welfare & cultural organization was established by some energetic young fellows of Hridaypur on 7th April ’02.The primary objective was to educate the children who had been lagging behind in the schools and to prevent drop-out. Upon establishing our organization we realized there is no library facility for our students or as well as the local people. Keep that in mind, to help our students to study and try to initiate a reading habit, we establish HRIDAYPUR SRIJA EDUCATIONAL LIBRARY.

·        EVERY BOOK HAS ITS READER.

OUR HEARTIEST REQUEST TO ALL VIEWERS PLEASE DONATE YOUR UNUSED BOOKS IN OUR LIBRARY.SO THAT OUR STUDENTS WILL BE BENEFITED.

Library Rules

GENERAL

• Maintain Silence

• Do not take any book or other library material out of the library without following the borrowing procedures.

• Make sure to return the borrowed items by the due date.

• In case any of the borrowed items being lost,damaged, or destroyed, you are required to replace the lost /damaged/destroyed item with a new one.

• Never write in books or cut pages out of them.

• Return books/materials to their original location on the bookshelf.

• Any food is not allowed to have in the library Using of mobile phones is prohibited.

• Private conversations are not permitted. Even talking in a whisper or standing and chatting may be disturbing to others. Strictly prohibited from doing the above.

• Refrain from leaving your baggage, etc.. Also,please be sure not to leave valuables unattended..

CIRCULATION

• Only 2 books will be issued per users for 7 days.

• After due date rupee 1/- will be charged as fine per book, per day.

• For library use monthly subscription is 2/-rupees( for students) and 5/- rupees (for other members) 

• Reference books /magazines and high priced books will not be issued to anyone under any circumstances. 

TIMINGS

• Monday: 5 pm to 6 pm

• Wednesday : 5 pm to 6 pm

• Saturday: 4 pm to 6 pm

***Timings can be changed with prior notice.

MEMBERSHIPS

 

1.      Anyone associated with HRIDAYPUR SRIJA can become a member of the library.

2.      Every students at HRIDAYPUR SRIJA has to take mandatory memberships, otherwise they are not entitled to any services to the library.

3.      Who are not associated with HRIDAYPUR SRIJA can become a member of the library with two referrals of member/students of HRIDAYPUR SRIJA. They have to pay a caution money of 100/-rupees (refundable upon the membership withdraw) and prescribed subscription fees. They also have to follow all the rules of the library.

4.      In any matter the decision will be taken by the Authority (LIBRARY IN-CHARGE/LIBRARY COMMITTEE)is final.
